Time Management is not always one of my strengths. That having been said, it is late, it is raining, and I have hot chocolate. What else would I want to do other than design or start watching Christmas movies?!? I chose to design…and listed to Christmas music! And I found myself wanting to play with color. Well, I have this cool litte widget from the creative folks over at Sherwin-Williams called “Chip It”! Best designer timewaster/projectstarter/mood-tamer ever. It’s seriously therapeutic. But, I had some fun and thought I would share it here!
Fresh and grounded simultaneously, this vintage palette gives a range of hues that could easily be used in a traditional setting or modern space.
I love this exotic palette drawn from a gilded door in a faraway land. Amazing pairing of cool and warm tones… with the all-basic Tricorn Black!
The tangerine has a lively burst of flavor– but it doesn’t stop as a culinary delight! This collection could be employed wonderfully in an open-plan kitchen and den area. It could be equally successful on a southern front porch.
Lastly, this tried and true combination of regal hues gets an update by not giving true-colored hues but neutral-toned cousins of gold, crimson, taupe, grey and black. Although, I’m going to be honest…I really wanted to see the pink in this palette, not the crimson! Another time….another time.
See Ya Next Time!Lexie
