Aaaaaand We’re Back

Where have we been? Never mind that. We’ve got some catching up to do!

We’re in the middle of the Holiday Season and I wanted to highlight some of the fun things that you can do to infuse your home with cheer! Where better to start than the heart of the home? The kitchen! Lets take a look first at some beautiful spaces to inspire us…

Traditional elegance.

painted cabinets

What could be done to cheerify this kitchen?

Perhaps a small garland to run underneath the cabinets where the backsplash is. (not as far forward as this one shown).

So what could we do in this kitchen to pump up the cheer?

Replace the starfish with a more festive display of miniature Christmas trees  or Hurricanes full of pinecones, painted seashells, or miniature ornaments like pictured here.

Ornaments From The Ceiling

How about using clear Command(tm) hooks and hanging maybe 2-3 dozen glass ornaments above the island from invisible fishing wire! You could also replace the coastal glass in the transom storage with seasonal goodies of any kind!

Wow! That was fun! I hope it inspires you to adorn your home’s heart — see you on the other side!
